One of the most memorable things about the country for me is the amazing food, influenced by so many cultures. Malaysia is an incredible destination and offers such an amazing array of experiences, such as wandering through the dense jungle in Taman Negara National Park, exploring the cultural centres of Penang and Melaka or snorkeling with the turtles on the Perhentian Islands.For my next trip I will be heading over to explore exotic Borneo to come face to face with the Orangutans and dive off Sipadan reef. Perhaps I will even climb Mt Kinabalu… |

I have returned to South East Asia several times since then including travel to Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand.I have visited Peninsula Malaysia a couple of times over the last 10 years including visiting the gorgeous beach island destinations of Penang and Langkawi. I am always utterly charmed by the people and the atmosphere in Malayisa and it really is a destination that caters for everyone. Also, Malaysia is a food paradise with local cuisine and also Indian and Middle Eastern influenced food. I am yet to visit Borneo Malaysia, but it is a destination that I am eager to get to very soon. I have recently visited the orangutans in Sumatra, Indonesia but I would also love to visit these incredible creatures in Borneo Malaysia. |
